Le Moyne College is a four-year, coeducational Jesuit college of approximately 2,700 undergraduate students that uniquely balances a comprehensive liberal arts education with preparation for specific career paths or graduate study.

Founded in 1946, Le Moyne is the youngest of the twenty-seven Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. Its emphasis is on the education of the whole person and on the search for meaning and value as integral parts of an intellectual life. Learning, entrepreneurship, leadership and service are the hallmarks of a Le Moyne College education. Those values are evident in the College's 100+ undergraduate majors, minors and special programs of study and graduate programs in business administration, arts administration, education, executive leadership, nursing, occupational therapy, information systems and physician assistant studies.

Le Moyne's personal approach to education is reflected in the quality of contact between students and faculty members. With approximately 150 full-time faculty members, Le Moyne has a student-faculty ratio of 12:1 and an average class size of 20.

As a potential first-year student, you can apply through Le Moyne’s applicant portal or by adding Le Moyne to your list of schools in the Common Application. First-year students will need to submit the following: Completed Application Personal Essay – Your short personal essay must be at least 250 words in length. For your essay, you can do one of the following: Submit a copy of a paper that you’ve written for class within the past year. Include your teacher’s comments and the grade you got on the essay.
