An established local coffee company is looking to hire a BARISTA to assist with the following: RESPONSIBILITIES: Educates customers on specialty coffee and various brewing methods, and suggests menu options based on their individual preferences. Prepares and serves delicious hot and cold drinks, including espresso based, blended and gourmet tea beverages. Prepares and serves mouthwatering breakfast, lunch/brunch food pairings, gelato, baked goods, and other food and drink items. Answers customers questions regarding coffee blends, preparation, etc. in a courteous and friendly manner. Verbally receives and calls back customer orders in a friendly manner. Accurately rings up sales, and counts back change to customers. Follows all company drink and food recipes to ensure that customers receive the highest quality offerings.
