About St. John Fisher College

As an independent institution in the Catholic tradition of American higher education, St. John Fisher College emphasizes the liberal arts, offering programs in traditional academic disciplines as well as more directly career-oriented fields.

The College is composed of five schools: the School of Arts and Sciences; the School of Business; the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education; the Wegmans School of Nursing; and the Wegmans School of Pharmacy. Each school is accredited by regional, national, and/or international accrediting bodies. Fisher offers undergraduate majors in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business, education, and nursing, as well as several pre-professional programs. The College also offers a variety of master's and doctoral programs; a fully online program and several online courses are part of the curriculum mix as well.

Scholarships Fisher Scholarships All full-time freshman applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships without regard to financial eligibility. Most merit scholarships range from  $7,500 to $17,000 per year. Scholarship eligibility is based on high school grade point average, strength of curriculum, and SAT or ACT scores Eligible students are automatically notified by the Office of Admissions. Merit awards cannot be combined with the Service Scholars and First Generation Scholarships. Note:   Fisher is test-optional for fall 2021 and fall 2022. All full-time new transfer applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships without regard to financial eligibility. Transfer Achievement Scholarships and Awards range from  $5,000 to $14,000 per year .

Freshman Admissions for International Students St. John Fisher College welcomes applications from qualified international students for study. Application Requirements Freshman applicants for undergraduate study must submit the following: St. John Fisher College's Application for Admission (apply through the  Common Application ). The application must be signed and dated and all required information must accompany the application when it is submitted. Original or notarized copies of academic records from all secondary (high school) schools attended. If any of the student's high school years were completed outside of the United States, those transcripts must be submitted through a transcript evaluation vendor verified by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
