Blue Lagoon Island

One of the best beaches in the Bahamas can be found at Blue Lagoon Island, also known by its official name Salt Cay. Frequently called the "real Bahamas, Blue Lagoon has been an interesting part of The Bahamas' history and is one of the most well known of Nassau's natural attractions and tours. Located just three miles from Nassau, it is now the home of the dolphins and sea lions of Dolphin Encounters and is owned by a local family.
