Job Summary Responsible for all aspects of the float control management, float audit including the development and management of systems for the effective accountability of floats and also collection of float shortage. Main Duties & Responsibilities -Reinforce company and departmental policies & procedures and rules & regulations as regarding handling, distribution and securing of company floats. -Analyzes company internal petty cash and float handling procedures and prepare reports addressing concerning related to. -Continually evaluate the effectiveness of F&B Cashiering Department operational procedures and controls to maximize departmental productivity and minimize errors made by staff and reduce opportunity for appropriation of company fund. -Provide management with suggestion for revision of petty cash and float handling policies and procedures to ensure adjustment to changing business requirements are met -Check and count all company distributed floats including F&B Cashiering on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis or as requested to ensure all funds are accounted for. -Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on all distributed floats and float count documenting any overage/shortage and follow-up action taken regarding the same. -Advise as to any overage/shortages and implement procedure to document, report and collect overage and shortage as to collect overage. -Issues float shortage notification in a timely fashion, ensuring payment. -Assist with providing daily management and leadership to the F&B Cashiering Team as relates to securing, distribution and accounting for company funds entrusted to them in accordance with company and departmental procedures -Ensure F&B Cashiering Team and all persons assigned company float are adhering to internal controls and cash handling procedure. -Ensure that all other F&B Cashiering Department and company policies and procedures are being adhered to (take corrective measures as needed). -Maintain an open line of communication with cashiers, float holders and management to allow for the smooth organizational operations. -Assist with all other F&B Cashiering Management function as required by management -Reiterate control procedures -Carries out all other reasonable duties that may be requested by management.
