Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

He shall directly and immediately inform his immediate superior if any environmental system does not function properly.
Responsible for maintenance and safe operation of all electrical equipment on site, this includes high voltage equipment.
To ensure that all jobs shall be performed according to Company Standard Operating Procedures.
To ensure that all documentation such as drawings, service manuals and instruction manuals of the systems they are responsible for, are available and updated "as built".
To ensure that all components and parts belonging to the systems they are responsible for are fully covered by the AMOS maintenance jobs.
To ensure that all items belonging to the systems they are responsible for are registered in the AMOS system.
To ensure that all electrical spare parts belonging to the systems they are responsible for are available on in sufficient quantity.
To report any problem & malfunction that may affect the electrical equipment system immediately to the Site Engineer, Assistant Site Engineer or Technical Supervisor.
Check the suitability and correctness of all new electrical equipment brought to or fitted to the site electrical systems.
Overhauling and maintaining all site electrical equipment.
Operate Heavy Equipment and site vehicles
May be assigned to participate with any projects and equipment upgrade that is not part of regular maintenance, as per Site Engineer's and Assistant Site Engineer’s
Additional routines and work as assigned by Site Engineer and Assistant Site Engineer.
Must hold valid license /certificate(s) in area of technical specialty.
Three or more years progressive technical experience and training in a resort/marine environment with at least two years operational experience with Electrical equipment, including Power Generation, Sewage Treatment Plants, Incinerators, Potable Water Production, Laundry, Galley & Kitchen Equipment Satellite Communications and heavy operating equipment.
Proven ability to work on time sensitive projects.
Previous exposure to international environments strongly preferred.
Effective verbal and written communications skills.
Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, purchasing and maintenance systems, email, and Internet.
Ability to work with an international staff in a positive and productive manner.
Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests and employees.
Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, management and co-workers.
Ability to speak additional languages, such as Spanish, French or German, is preferred.
All island employees must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills.
Full use/range of motion of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency.
Must be able to stand in the sun and endure external elements during work assignment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Outdoors may be required to walk in extreme humid and hot conditions.
