Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct him/herself in a professional and courteous manner always. This consists of physical and verbal interactions with guests or fellow employees and/or in the presence of guest contact and employee areas. If for any reason the Site Manager is not available to fulfill his or her responsibilities, the ISLAND PROJECT MANAGER will perform the Site Manager duties. Focus primarily on quality of operations, oversee assignments of duties, observe and evaluate employees and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service are met. Identify staffing requirements and manage workforce scheduling for the various operations: water park, pools, Sport Beach, Balloon, SAW, etc. Recruitment and selection of new staff in line with operation manpower planning Guide, develop and provide on-the job training to new employees Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals Actively seek out opportunity to reduce costs while maintaining standards of quality service. Develop and implement Standard Operation Procedures in view of satisfying compliance requirements, mitigate health and safety risk, and allow for consistent and efficient work practices throughout an organization Physical Demands: All island employees must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use/range of motion of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency. Must be able to stand in the sun and endure external elements during work assignment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: Outdoors may be required to walk in extreme humid and hot conditions.
