Job Summary: Monitors the security operations and implements security policies, regulations, rules and norms and ensures that the environment is safe for employees, customers, visitors and contractual vendors. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implements security policies, protocols and procedures. Reviews security related documents such as reports, proposals and tactical or strategic initiatives. Analyzes and evaluates security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement. Liaises with relevant internal stakeholders to order determine operational needs. Identifies, investigates or resolves security breaches (in collaboration with security companies and the Royal Bahamas Police Force). Liaises with Information Technology Department for video surveillance monitoring, tracking and reporting. This does not include IT Security. Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses. Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards. Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events. Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms. Review reports on incidents and breaches. Create reports for management on security status. Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology). Addresses line management whenever he/she sees a symptom of a potential gap in compliance. Manage /Develop /Improve Security awareness and training initiatives . Define, design and deploy ongoing educational assets to improve security. Participate in developing and evolving HEINEKEN security strategy Collaborate with the regional Manager to understand and develop further the controls and processes required to improve security. Drive local implementation of new Security strategies and standards from Central GIS. Ensure all 700 Wines & Spirits stores, CBL warehouses and offices are safeguarded from any attempts of theft, damage or threats. Manages all aspects of security at work locations, travel security, emergency preparedness. Coordinates the transportation of all CBL assets as necessary inclusive of Family Island currency transfers. Ensures that traffic flows and parking of vehicles are safe. Communicates with government offices regarding security issues. Checks and confirms the security service payments of all 3rd party security companies. Perform any other assigned duties. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Minimun of five (5) years Security experience Minimum of three (3) years Managerial experience Competencies/Skills: Strong Negotiation and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives, Strong organizational skills and professional business practices. Strong understanding of Security standards/best practices. Must have continuous improvement mindset, a sense of business urgency and sound judgement. Microsoft Office Proficiency.
