Job Summary: The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the direction and management of the computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. Job Description: The scope of your duties includes managing and monitoring all IT activities, and IT reporting, hardware and software Implementation, and IT Inventory management. Duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for activities that contribute to planning, creating and implementing projects and/or teams that are aligned with the IT organization's strategic plan. Ability to Lead / manage small to large teams of people responsible for developing and delivery solutions for internal/external customers. Works in collaboration with Human Resources to attracts and hire talent to ensure that people with the right skills and motivations to meet medium and long term (2-3 years) business needs are in the right place at the right time. Responsible for the implementation of new resource structures and management of contractors. Develops strategic plans and implements the objectives of the IT organization to ensure the computer capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company's growth and are aligned with corporate goals and objectives. Leads the business to review changes in the industry and recommends strategies to review or address new growth opportunities, technologies etc. Achieves highly complex objectives within their portfolio and provides specific technical and business knowledge when representing the portfolio to the senior leadership team, and other forums. Develops and manages operating budgets across IT Develops an environment that embraces change; makes change happen—even if the change is radical— and helps others to accept new ideas. Focuses on continuous improvement. Challenges the status quo and breaking paradigms, to identify ideas for change and become the force. Implements opportunities for new products, services, and markets. Looks beyond the boundaries of the immediate organization for new growth opportunities in technologies and applications." Ensures all Human Resources processes are completed throughout own organization, including: recruitment, development, objective setting, performance management, compensation, promotions, etc. Accountable to ensure that performance objectives are established for each employee and are aligned with the IT strategy. Ensures projects align with the business and IT strategies at the department level. Contributes to the development of client strategies at the project to department level. Understands industry trends and practices for the client's business and area of domain expertise. Contributes to the development of firm standards and supports adoption of best practices. Partners with business leaders to develop an integrated business unit technology plan and manages delivery expectations. Builds trusted relationships throughout IT to enable effective delivery of IT services.
